First Thessalonians 5:11 says we are to "encourage one another and build each other up" and that is exactly what you will get from the women's ministry team here at Fellowship... encouragement! How do we do that? By encouraging you to get involved! We have several opportunities to help you not only get involved but also grow. Grow closer to Christ through Bible study. Grow closer to one another through fun girlfriend events, summer book club and more! Grow closer to the community by reaching out through Tabitha's Closet, Single Mom's/ Widow bi-annual oil change, and Back-2-School school supply drive. There is a spot waiting just for YOU!! It is my heart's desire to help you be all that God wants you to be. We have some awesome things planned for the year and would love to have you be a part of it all. I would love to get to know you better so give me a call. What an honor it is to be able to serve you as the director of Women's Ministries!

Bible Study Opportunies

Quarterly Event Opportunities

Our March Mugging is a time to come and relax with girlfriends and neighbors while we drink coffee, eat desserts and play some lively "get to know you" games. The mugging comes at the end of the evening when we exchange mugs filled with goodies.

The Perennial Exchange calls to all ladies regardless of the color of their thumbs! This a great time to get together and share gardening tips, favorite flowers and exchange perennials. It's a great way to grow your garden and remember the lovely ladies whose flower you planted!

A Summer/Fall field trip. We will go see a movie, bowl, visit a museum or whatever crazy field trip we can come up with...the purpose is to simply have fun getting to know one another!

Our Christmas Event will vary from year to year...cookie exchange, ornament exchange, fun, or formal. One thing for sure: you will have fun and get know someone new!

 

Summer Book Club

The book list will be posted in the bulletin in May for the months of June, July and August. We will meet the last Thursday of each of those months.

 

Conference/Retreat Opportunities

The Mother/Daughter Banquet is a wonderful opportunity to honor all women as we fall into one of two catergories: we are either a Mom or a daughter and we are all daughters of the King. This event will be held the weekend of Mother's Day every year.
